Pre-Holiday Prep
About 2 weeks before holiday I start to exfoliate and moisturise more often. The Hero Body Scrub is perfect as the sweet almond shell gently lifts away any dead skin cells I may have and the moisturising apricot oil leaves my skin feeling so soft.
Hair Wash Days
I mix my Shampoos and Conditioners depending on what my hair needs are; however, I will usually have Detox Dynamo packed as the whole family can use it as it’s great for clarifying hair and getting rid of swimming pool chlorine.
Always tucked in my suitcase is Intensive Care Leave In Conditioner. I like to use this every day when away and tend to apply more than normal for ultimate hydration (thanks to the amazing argan oil and shea butter inside). I also like to pop it on dry hair before I plait it if I’m heading to the beach for an extra dose of protection.
To The Rescue Serum is used after the Intensive Care Leave In Conditioner – it’s great for smoothing any fly away hairs or static, and I love that it adds a layer of heat protection too.
Air drying for me on holiday causes way too much frizz and I suffer from flaky scalp if I dry it naturally - with thick long hair that’s wet, it means the scalp can be damp for too long which causes irritation. I will always take my Noughty Microfibre Hair Towel (did someone say new colours on the way?!) to cut drying time and then blow dry as usual.
Evening Body Care
After a hot day in the sun, my body care favourites are The Booster Body Serum and The Booster Decolletage Serum which contains niacinamide to brighten, and antioxidant rich grapeseed oil to nourish. They keep my sun-kissed skin hydrated without feeling greasy – not to mention they smell amazing.
