The sogooditsnoughty To the Rescue Intense Moisture Treatment is my secret weapon to haircare, which I’m now sharing with you besties. (The OG besties may remember this from my stories).
This is soo good, that I’ve actually replaced my conditioner with this & only use this to conditioner my hair. I’ve also got all of my friends on this & they now swear by it too 🤭
This has a deliciously whipped texture (swipe for texture shot) which I feel like just ups the conditioner game. You can use this two ways, so either like a conditioner for a few minutes or leave it for longer as a deep treatment mask. I prefer leaving it for longer & it just makes my hair feel silky soft. Like you can really see the difference in your when you switch to this.
It’s able to give that silky smoothness because it’s infused with sweet almond and black oats. It’s also made with 97% natural ingredients and doesn’t contain any silicones, sulphates, parabens or petrochemicals. Which is defo reassuring to know that you’re not putting anything harsh on your hair.
Also this has a really lovely scent but doesn’t smell artificial at all.

Woohoo! Definition at the back! 🙌 (I officially qualify for the Instagram Curly Girl hairstyle pose)
I used a couple of new techniques today: rinsing out conditioner upside-down, then continuing to style upside-down, inspired by curly_katies_cgm . I also tried the #123gel method by honestlizhere for the first time. Using pure aloe vera gel and homemade flax seed gel as the first two, my hair doesn't feel too producty.
To counteract a suspected protein overload, I went wild with the moisturiser. Used a co-wash, deep conditioned and then used a DC as a conditioner too. Seems to have paid off 😊
Process:
🥥 Double cleansed with asiamuk Coconut Cowash, lots of scrubbing and massaging.
🥥 sogooditsnoughty To The Rescue deep conditioner for about 15 minutes under a shower cap.
🥥 Garnieruk Papaya Hair Food deep conditioner, popped in an invisibobble for about 5 mins while I finished off in the shower. Then squished to condish and rinsed upside-down in warm (not hot) water.
🥥 Glazed on lots of aloe vera gel and scrunched.
🥥 Glazed on copious amounts of homemade flax seed gel and scrunched.
🥥 Glazed on a small amount of Giovanni LA Natural styling gel mixed with a tiny bit of water. Scrunched out a lot of water.
🥥 T-shirt plopped for about 15 mins and then air dried.
🥥 Smoothed on a TINY amount of sweet almond oil to protect and seal in moisture.
I'm so happy with the results. But can someone please cut off those damn stringy bits at the bottom?!

Deep Conditioning Misconceptions 🧐
Using a Deep Conditioner (DC) should be a staple part of all curly hair routines, however you MUST ensure you’re using the correct type for your hair’s current needs.
I slipped up on my own advice recently as my hair has been acting all sorts of wild, so I was slapping on DCs left, right and centre, along with Olaplex No. 3 treatments for good measure. I wasn’t seeing improvements and I realised it was because most of my fave stylers contained protein...and so did the DCs I was using. I was over-egging the protein (bad joke, I have zero regrets, don’t judge). My hair felt ‘coated,’ dry and tangled.
For my wash day yesterday I used the sogooditsnoughty To The Rescue Intense Moisture Treatment [gifted] and let me tell you my hair SOAKED this up! The sogooditsnoughty To the Rescue Intense Moisture Treatment is my secret weapon to haircare, which I’m now sharing with you besties. (The OG besties may remember this from my stories).
This is soo good, that I’ve actually replaced my conditioner with this & only use this to conditioner my hair. I’ve also got all of my friends on this & they now swear by it too 🤭
This has a deliciously whipped texture (swipe for texture shot) which I feel like just ups the conditioner game. You can use this two ways, so either like a conditioner for a few minutes or leave it for longer as a deep treatment mask. I prefer leaving it for longer & it just makes my hair feel silky soft. Like you can really see the difference in your when you switch to this.
It’s able to give that silky smoothness because it’s infused with sweet almond and black oats. It’s also made with 97% natural ingredients and doesn’t contain any silicones, sulphates, parabens or petrochemicals. Which is defo reassuring to know that you’re not putting anything harsh on your hair.
Also this has a really lovely scent but doesn’t smell artificial at all.

Woohoo! Definition at the back! 🙌 (I officially qualify for the Instagram Curly Girl hairstyle pose)
I used a couple of new techniques today: rinsing out conditioner upside-down, then continuing to style upside-down, inspired by curly_katies_cgm . I also tried the #123gel method by honestlizhere for the first time. Using pure aloe vera gel and homemade flax seed gel as the first two, my hair doesn't feel too producty.
To counteract a suspected protein overload, I went wild with the moisturiser. Used a co-wash, deep conditioned and then used a DC as a conditioner too. Seems to have paid off 😊
Process:
🥥 Double cleansed with asiamuk Coconut Cowash, lots of scrubbing and massaging.
🥥 sogooditsnoughty To The Rescue deep conditioner for about 15 minutes under a shower cap.
🥥 Garnieruk Papaya Hair Food deep conditioner, popped in an invisibobble for about 5 mins while I finished off in the shower. Then squished to condish and rinsed upside-down in warm (not hot) water.
🥥 Glazed on lots of aloe vera gel and scrunched.
🥥 Glazed on copious amounts of homemade flax seed gel and scrunched.
🥥 Glazed on a small amount of Giovanni LA Natural styling gel mixed with a tiny bit of water. Scrunched out a lot of water.
🥥 T-shirt plopped for about 15 mins and then air dried.
🥥 Smoothed on a TINY amount of sweet almond oil to protect and seal in moisture.
I'm so happy with the results. But can someone please cut off those damn stringy bits at the bottom?!

Deep Conditioning Misconceptions 🧐
Using a Deep Conditioner (DC) should be a staple part of all curly hair routines, however you MUST ensure you’re using the correct type for your hair’s current needs.
I slipped up on my own advice recently as my hair has been acting all sorts of wild, so I was slapping on DCs left, right and centre, along with Olaplex No. 3 treatments for good measure. I wasn’t seeing improvements and I realised it was because most of my fave stylers contained protein...and so did the DCs I was using. I was over-egging the protein (bad joke, I have zero regrets, don’t judge). My hair felt ‘coated,’ dry and tangled.
For my wash day yesterday I used the sogooditsnoughty To The Rescue Intense Moisture Treatment [gifted] and let me tell you my hair SOAKED this up!
